Aloma

  • Multi-Family

Since 2002, Greco has been a leading developer in reshaping urban landscapes through creating innovative housing and mixed-use developments. The opening of Aloma, in November 2024 is the newest addition to Shoreview and the final phase of the multi-year redevelopment of the Shoreview Corporate Center. Greco describes Aloma as a “pinnacle of luxury living, offering thoughtfully designed spaces and world-class amenities”.

Those “thoughtfully designed spaces” can be attributed to BKV Group, an international, community enhancing, architectural design firm with award winning projects across the country. Liza Kapisak is Director of Interior Design and Partner of BKV Group. Greco and BKV worked on the first two phases of Shoreview. “On this final phase we were particularly interested in a dealership with a sophisticated reporting system for better tracking and lead time management. We chose Aurora because of their ability to streamline processes. We’ve collaborated on projects before, and we have a good track record together.”

“Aurora exceeded expectations. The tracking system, communication, and devotion to service was evident throughout. We stake our reputation with our clients on whom we choose to partner with. No firm can afford a bad experience. Aurora is one of those partners that helps us make a difference in the overall experience being a satisfying one”.

Stephanie Borens was the Account Manager on the Aloma project. “The scope of the project was vast. Amenity spaces, “work from home rooms”, podcast rooms, a golf simulator, community areas, lounge, dining, cafes, private theater, and club rooms. It’s quite a place.”

Stephanie explains that timelines were a major factor. “By the time final decisions were made, some of the specified products were no longer an option so we put a huge effort into finding suitable alternatives in order to meet critical dates.” Stephanie credits her Sr. Project Lead, Lindsey Bakkum and Sr. Project Coordinator, Ly Nguyen with proactively managing and consistently communicating all the details with BKV and the client. “It all got double checked, staged, and delivered on time. Any punch items were quickly resolved. Nothing major…so nice when there are no surprises.” Liza is also a fan of “no surprises”.
