Designed to offer thoughtfully curated spaces and world-class amenities, Aloma redefines apartment living — a reflection of the unified vision behind its development. As longtime partners on the Shoreview campus, award-winning architecture firm BKV Group and developer Greco brought Aurora on board for the final phase, seeking a procurement partner with streamlined processes, sophisticated reporting, and a proven track record of collaboration.
Liza Kapisak, Director of Interior Design and Partner at BKV Group, led the design effort. Having worked together on the previous two Shoreview phases, BKV and Greco approached this final phase with high expectations. “On this final phase we were particularly interested in a dealership with a sophisticated reporting system for better tracking and lead time management.” Kapisak shared, “We chose Aurora because of their ability to streamline processes. We’ve collaborated on projects before, and we have a good track record together.”

Stephanie Borens served as Aurora’s Account Manager for the project. “The scope of the project was vast,” she noted. “Amenity spaces, work-from-home rooms, podcast rooms, a golf simulator, community areas, lounge, dining spaces, cafes, a private theater, and club rooms — it’s quite a place.”
Meeting critical timelines was a key factor of the project requirements. “By the time final decisions were made, some of the originally specified products were no longer available,” Borens explained. “Our team put a huge effort into finding suitable alternatives to stay on schedule.” crediting Aurora’s Sr. Project Lead Lindsey Bakkum and Sr. Project Coordinator Ly Nguyen for their proactive management and consistent communication with BKV and Greco. Kapisak echoed that sentiment, “Everything was double-checked, staged, and delivered on time. Any punch items were quickly resolved. Nothing major… it’s so nice when there are no surprises.”
